Dr James Borthwick presents on Geographic Atrophy, the ‘other’ blinding AMD

Our March seminar was a popular one, with plenty of local optometrists arriving eager to learn from Dr Borthwick about the latest research into treatment for Geographic Atrophy (GA).

It wasn’t the only crowded house of the evening. Dr Borthwick presented on the signs and symptoms of GA and answered all questions before leaving for another big event that night:the Crowded House concert taking place at Christchurch Arena.

While there are always plenty of optometrists arriving in person to these seminars we know that not everyone can make it on the night, be it due to professional responsibilities, travel commitments or really good concerts. That’s why we film these presentations and provide online access to them.

If you’d like to see this seminar, or others from the last year, email info@southerneye.co.nz with 4S seminar in the subject line and we’ll arrange access for you.

Once you have access and have viewed the seminar we’ll then help you quickly and easily apply for your CPD points.
